My Favorite Book

My favorite book is Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. I read it last year, and it quickly became my favorite. The story is about a pig named Wilbur and a spider named Charlotte. Wilbur is going to be killed, but Charlotte saves him by weaving words like “Some Pig” in her web. I love how Charlotte is kind and clever—she works hard to help her friend. Wilbur is also a lovely character; he is friendly and grateful. The book teaches me about friendship and loyalty. It shows that even small creatures can do great things. I have read it three times already, and I still enjoy it every time.

I took part in a school moot court activity last month. I played the role of a witness. We discussed a case about “student borrowing others’ homework.” I prepared my testimony carefully, practicing how to speak clearly and confidently. During the activity, the “lawyer” asked me questions, and I answered based on the facts. The judge praised me for my clear expression. I learned about the importance of honesty and the basic rules of a court. This activity was different from regular classes. It taught me to think logically and express my opinions in an orderly way.
