The Joy of Listening to Vinyl Records
Listening to vinyl records has become a beloved hobby that connects me to music in a way that digital music never has. My grandpa gave me his old record player last year, along with a box of his favorite records—classic rock, jazz, and folk music. There’s something special about the ritual of playing a vinyl record: taking it out of its sleeve, placing it on the turntable, lowering the needle, and hearing the soft crackle before the music starts.
